London's Air Ambulance Children's Summer Art Challenge - The Winners

To celebrate London's Air Ambulance (LAA) as the Blick Rothenberg chosen charity for 2022 and 2023, the Charity Committee challenged colleagues children to draw, paint, craft or collage a piece of artwork showcasing the amazing work the London Air Ambulance does.

The winning pieces are being displayed in our reception areas, online on our website and across our social media, the artists each received a £25 gift voucher.

Nimesh Shah talks to London's Air Ambulance

We were delighted that Cat Hughes Philanthropy & Partnerships Coordinator at London's Air Ambulance Charity, was able to join us at our 2022 Summer Party (and "Sports Day) meet some of our team and talk to CEO Nimesh Shah about the amazing work the charity is doing to support the local community.

London Air Ambulance helicopters serve the 10 million people that live work and travel within the M25 and can get an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients in 11 minutes.

Cat talked to Nimesh about the charity reaching a critical point to replace their two helicopters by 2024 and their 'Against Time Appeal' to raise the £15 million that is needed.

Supporting London's Air Ambulance

London’s Air Ambulance is reliant on public donations to meet its annual running costs of approximately £10 million. The London Air Ambulance works closely with the NHS and receive some funding from its NHS partners, but it is not an NHS organisation.

Since launching 33 years ago, the service has treated over 43,000 patients.
